  • Having a history of anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, or therapy does not automatically prevent you from being approved for surgery. Many individuals pursuing bariatric surgery have mental health histories. The evaluation looks at how symptoms are being managed and whether you have the support and coping tools needed for long-term success.

  • The fee for a bariatric psychological evaluation is $250 flat fee. This includes the clinical interview, assessment, and written report required for surgical clearance. There are no hidden fees.
